Would love to see your Flicka, Dans or Irion

I’m toying with buying one of these, probably the Dana at this point, but in reality I have yet to lay my eyes on any in person. All the ones I’ve seen listed for sale are a long ways away.

If you have one and are anywhere I am traveling I’d love to see it to get an idea if I’m on the right track. I’ve previously owned a Hunter 37 cutter for 15 years, cruised the Bahamas in it, then a 40 Cheoy Lee Midshipman for 10 years until Hurricane Harvey took her away. I think I want to try a trailerable boat capable of big waters now.

I’m in San Antonio today, will be near Corpus soon, could run up to Houston/Clear Lake, and will be in Austin next week. Then on some route to central Missouri.

If you are anywhere this could work maybe I could buy supper in return for a visit to your boat?

Well, dang! A typo in the boat name - that would be Orion.

And why are my apostrophes turning into all the strange characters??

Perhaps using cut-n-paste from a feature-heavy word processor rather than just typing into the box on this site? Some of the font codes do not ... travel well... !

BTW, friend of mine 'aged out' of boating a couple years ago and sold his pristine PSC Orion. It was a great boat, and had taken he and his wide on a lot of trips over the years.
