Did you get the site DNS transferred? I hit as far as "I'll send you a disc" but Harris dropped off again when I went to try to do that.

Re: What Happened to the Pearson35 Web Site?

I am up for helping out any way I can. Is this being built in a Wordpress template?

Re: What Happened to the Pearson35 Web Site?

I started it with Wordpress, but I am not sure I will continue that way. I had set it up once, but found the product I ordered had a five page limitation. It may stay with Wordpress, or it may be redone again another way. Wordpress is not cooperating with some of the things I was trying to do. I don't want to get boxed into a format that will work down the road.

It is being done on a spare time basis, so it will take some time to get even close to being what it was.

I wish Harris had given permission to copy everything and that he been able to send/transfer the data files to me. However, he didn't return my phone calls or my emails. For some reason, he just seemed to drop it. I thought perhaps he was ill, but apparently his interest now is bicycling.

Cheers,

Dave

Re: What Happened to the Pearson35 Web Site?

It expired, so it was up for grabs.

I will follow your lead. If you want to form a help-committee, I have some experience with WordPress sites. What I don't know, I can ask my web developer and or research solutions. Were you able to get the URL registration?

You must have gotten to it quick- I was checking daily for awhile and it never came up as available.
All to the better. If I ever see that disc I'll be happy to help get the data back up and on line.

I will welcome the help. Right now things are busy, but I hope to dive into this after the first of the year.

Disc arrived in the mail yesterday. Haven't even tried to open it yet, but if it's all there I should be able to help you get it up quickly.

Re: What Happened to the Pearson35 Web Site?

I haven't had a chance to get back to it, as post holidays were busy with travel, work, and the "Honey Do" list. Currently at work (professional mariner), so when my hitch ends in February, hopefully I will get some more things posted. Send me a pm with any comments.

Cheers,

Dave
