Msd toilet. Vented loops.

Hi, I am doing up my new boat and about to rip out the toilet.
I have a new domestic 975msd, but looking at what I have at the moment there are no vented loops. I am going to fit the vent from the toilet it’s self ......but do I need to put in a vented loop after the hand pump?

Do I understand that you will not have a holding tank of any kind?

Not sure why you are worried about vented loops when an mds toilet has no holding tank . Am I missing something?

Re: Msd toilet. Vented loops.

Not meaning to speak for the OP, but the vented loop is needed to prevent a siphon from starting. On a boat without a holding tank it would be a real concern because when the boat heels, it is likely that the toilet bowl would be below the waterline. This would enable a siphon to start bringing seawater into the boat via the toilet.
