Not sure if this was directed at my macerator suggestion, or not. Most macerators (when new) are capable of self priming up to 4 feet (1.3 meters).

The 12volt pump that I mentioned in post #9 has been working flawlessly for years can be purchased on Amazon right now for $346.

In marinas that freeze they must shut down their waste pumping operations for the winter. That is why I built the waste cart in the first place.
