Purasan with Lavac

Does anyone have experience mating a Lavac with a Purasan?

I’ve a few questions.

1: Purasan says limit flush to 1-1/2 gallons. Do you ever have a difficulty with this limitation? How do you not exceed it?

2: The Purasan EX requires “pressurized fresh water” but I can find no specs like what pressure, what kind of pump (pressure on demand? Or?) or how much water per flush.

3: This will go on our 2nd head which we seldom use. It has had a hairline crack in the bowl for the last 10 years. So far I’ve not worried about it. But if we use it more often maybe I should? Where do you source a Lavac in the USA?

4: Any other shared experience or comments are welcome.

These guys do a good job with selling parts for the Lavac. They have fast turn around and can answer your questions. https://www.sbimailservice.com/mobile/lavac.htm

I’ve a few questions.

1: Purasan says limit flush to 1-1/2 gallons. Do you ever have a difficulty with this limitation? How do you not exceed it? Really? You normally exceed 1.5 gals per flush? Everything in my system currently goes to the 25 gal holding tank and it takes a week for the 2 of us to fill. But the 1.5 gals really is just based on the volume the system can treat in 1 use. If you exceed that the only thing that happens is it doesn't get fully treated

2: The Purasan EX requires “pressurized fresh water” but I can find no specs like what pressure, what kind of pump (pressure on demand? Or?) or how much water per flush. It is just rinse water to go to the tablet container. That water gravity flows to the treatment system and I don't think it really matters the water system pressure. This system is really for use in a fresh water flush head, or in brackish/fresh water if a raw water system. If you are really going to be in a seawater flush system just use the Electoscan instead and save a fe $$

3: This will go on our 2nd head which we seldom use. It has had a hairline crack in the bowl for the last 10 years. So far I’ve not worried about it. But if we use it more often maybe I should? Where do you source a Lavac in the USA?

I don't have one, but have considered it recently and read the instructions.
