Brent, what was the story on what Bob said and why that place went down the tubes?

Nothing like that kind of experience to educate one!

What is it about these steel boat people constantly hitting stuff? I thought the idea was not to hit stuff.

Re: Steel vs Fiberglass

Seems to be why they gravitate to steel boats - lose a few built of other materials and then buy a steeler instead of improving their navigation skills - or simply buying a GPS.

To be fair, in this case I have no idea how accurate the charting of the high arctic is.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.

I'll go next, thanks...

I work with a guy who was an aspiring child actor. When he was a kid, he used to hang out on the Star Trek original series set and play on the transporter pads, and throw the giant boulders around

My cousin is Rosano Brazzi "Here to eternity" and other films. Never met him but he's my cousin none the less. My son worked for Steve Jobs. And my wife when she sold for the Airlines was best buds with James Garner he would ask for her.
Jimmy Buffett called me on the phone when I emailed him prior to a concert here in town to see if he wanted to go sailing, said he couldn't work it in but thanks anyway.

Worked at the Filmore east, Anderson and electric ladyland. Just about every rock star of the 60-70s saw my face more than once. Bet you none knew who I am but *****ed if I didn't do my job.

Uncle was Gary McFarland. He won playboy jazz poll on vibs.
Brother in law Bennett Lerner played piano at Carnegie hall several times.
Met, broke bread and bs'd with folks from both rock, jazz and classical worlds. Dad did advertising so also silver screen stars. All peed on their legs when they got drunk.

Re: Steel vs Fiberglass

If anyone knows who "Commander Cody" (lost planet airmen) is he grabbed me and did a love tap head butt when I asked him if he ever sang "the devil in me" anymore. He got a blank stare and said it was just too painful. The most real moment I've had with someone famous.
