Tides at Comer Channel

Comer Channel is a shallow passage between Long Island, Bahamas (Thompson Bay) and the Jumentos and Ragged Islands. I need to transit it at near high tide to avoid running aground. I have read two accounts where they recommend using the tides at Nassau and correcting for the time. Unfortunately the two accounts vary greatly as to the correction.

Please let me know any information you might have about the tides at Comer Channel.

Thank you.

Re: Tides at Comer Channel

Tide readings from Steventon on Grt Exuma and Clarence Harbour on LI.
Charts show you should have 6 ft at low.
I would time your tide you have at thompson bay and learn how that compares.

I need to cross hog cut, 3 ft at low.

Where are you headed
