This winter replaced an old Par 36950 galley pump that shuts off at 40 psi (2.7 bar) with a new(er) Shurflo 2095-433-244 that shuts off at 45 psi (3.1 bar). Everything works fine, EXCEPT, which I open a tap, water spills, I mean spills out of the pressure valve into the bilge, continuously...
Two weeks ago, Sunday night my water pump started to run as it normally does. Then I heard a "click" sound from somewhere else. At that point two things happened.
Hot water started to drain from the hot water tank via the pressure relief valve and the pump continued to run in a "slower mode"...
