any maritime job working off shore is dangerous. Far from any kind of help.
slippery decks and ladders (stairs to landlubbers) has tried to kill me several times in rough seas. Have torn both rotator cuffs of the shoulders catching myself on those ladders. Have nearly broken a leg a few times.
And the Snaking (the netting on the lifelines) have kept me from being swepted off the deck and overboard. But aside of those few mishaps it can be a pretty safe envioment as long as you are careful... very very careful.
Oh watch out for the boarding seas:laugher

Wow I am number 3 on the list.. I wonder how that makes my passengers feel..No wonder why I have a hard time finding life insurance. LOL..
Living life on the edge and won't have it any way..
They haven't rated anyone sailing with me either. ummmm... :eek:
