Our 24 year old C&C 35 MKIII was a great find 12 yers ago. We have taken trip up the coats from here on the Chesapeake to the LI Sound, Woods Hole, Mystic, Block Island on the outside and in, Hatteras, and Charleston. Most of our sailing is in the Chesapeake though.

C&C of the 70s and 80 are well made, good laminate and glass, sturdy and do well in light, moderate and heavy wind. We have found it to be a sturdy well made all round boat. I have even raced her some as she does have a turb iof speed and does well with a 127 rating. She has her quirks as all boats do, but a well surveyed C&C of that aera is a good value for the money.

Every time we look to move up in size we find we will have to trade off something we like in our boat. Speed....etc.

I would not however buy a newer model opne made after 1995. I do not like the direction they went
