2QM15 Raw Water Pump

Greetings all!

I have a Cal28 with a 2QM15 and my raw water pump decided to quit. I pulled it and the bearings are shot. Upon dis-assembly, I need a bunch of parts;

Both Bearings
Shaft
Both seals
Snap ring
Gasket
Cover
Impeller

My problem is twofold: I can't afford a new one from Yanmar (they think these things are gold!) and I can't find any part numbers to order the parts elsewhere.

Does anyone know who makes these Sherwood? Jabsco? or does anyone know of a source for the above parts?

You can get the complete rebuild kit from yanmar for less than $100.00, and it is a very easy rebuild. I have done several. I can't remember exactly what they wanted for the parts but it was very resonable. The whole pump on the other hand is a whole other kettle of fish, I think they wanted somthing between $500.00 and $800.00 !! Good luck , rick

You have a kit # for the rebuild parts? My Yanmar dealer doesn't have a clue!

Go to Torresen Marine.....great resource and you will find the parts you need. they ship promptly also.
