(First half of video) up to 35 knots of winds, most sailors stayed on the beach, except this Feva!

second half of video is day two- only 20knots and its during a handicap race watch the feva catching up and passing other classes of boats that are ment to be faster than them

What I'd like to see is the video in real time, not speeded up, without the music. That way we can hear the wind and the water.

While interesting, I'm not convinced that is 35 knots. The boat does not seem as fast as it should be in those conditions. Last in the video, they pass some Sunfish type boats. If you look at how far they are not heeled over, it just doesn't look like the wind is all that strong. Yes, they are going down wind, but if one assumes the sails are trimmed correct on the camera boat, then the Sunfish type boat is on a broad reach, which means it should have some heel. Its sailing flat which means something doesn't add up.

Doesn't look like sustained 35 in the first half I agree (perhaps gusts to), and they stated the 2nd half was 20, not a sunfish but a laser, not exactly a slow boat in it's own right, but point still taken.

The Feva is a neat racing dinghy though, and serious thumbs up to these two sailing it.

we used a gopro roll bar mount
