Hey I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this boat. I am looking at buying this boat for around 20000, from everything i have researched it seems like a great boat, and like a boat that i want (it will be my first boat and I plan to live on it for two years while going to school, and eventually take it FAR distances or around the world). It seems to be small enough to operate with 1 or 2 people, big enough to live and cruise on. I know I should have it surveyed, but if there is any advice someone could give me based on this info, I would be very grateful!

The builder was "MARIEHOLM", not Marie Holmes, I believe based somewhere in Scandinavia. They are better known in NA for their 26' folkboats. I have not seen/heard of a 32 foot version. If it carries on the Folkboat tradition you're looking at a sleek, deep but small full keel boat (for its size) and I wonder about it's suitablilty as a liveaboard. However at 32 feet perhaps it'll be OK.

Probably a good passagemaker, though, from what I understand they were a reputable builder.

The standard cautions apply... investigate with eyes open, and have her surveyed properly before deciding.

They're a bit cramped, but strong boats.
