I haven't been here in a while and spring is coming. So I thought I'd show you a bit of what I've been up to. There is a good deal to be had as well.

On the plus side the parts I am working on are new stanchion bases for my boat, and Etap 26. They are aluminum and the existing ones have split wide open due to electrolysis. The boat has been out of the water and I've been paying storage fees for 6 years! Life got in the way and I hope I may make some progress on her this year. I still have a lot to do, and I have an offer to put her in a local yard that would make working on her a lot easier. I contemplating how to pull that off. I don't have a cradle or stands at the moment.

Ron,
Thanks, it isn't a 'shop'. It is exactly 3' x 5' of floor space and up to the overhead door tracks that my wife grudgingly lets me have in a garage full of junk that I am not permitted to touch! I shot the video with a compact camera with a very wide angle lens from about 5' away. The tripod is perched over the recycling bin. I have to meticulously vacuum up every chip after each session.

I still have hope that my grandson will eventually take an interest in making stuff, and have the patience to actuaully start and finish.
