Hello, I just completed the assembly of my A4 after an overhaul. I am ready to attempt my first start after the rebuild and wanted to get some tips/pointers from the Sailnet community.

One question, I am looking for a manual oil pressure gauge to install for tuning...any suggestions? Preferably something available at an AutoZone.

Also, I don't have a fancy setup (as I've seen on YouTube, etc)...does anyone have any suggestions for a basic setup that will allow me to start/stop/tune the motor while on the bench?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Pretty much any gauge will fit right into the 1/8 NPT pressure sender spot with a 1/8 male X 1/4 female fitting

You just need a jumper wire from the battery to the coil and I find a push button starter tester better for turning over the motor than jamming in a screwdriver :)
