Need some help planning a 6 day itinerary in the Abacos in June , the second week. We rented a Cat from Sunsail, we are 4 couples, all with some experience on sailing, we've sailed at the BVI. Which are the musts? Where can we buy our groceries? And what kind of weather should we expect?
We love swimming and snorkelling. We would also like to visit some small villages and , if possible, fishing.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Green turtle key has great snorkeling on the east side. It also has a nice village to visit. I would try to head there first if you can make a long run the first day and the passage at whale key is good. Although you may be able to go the back side in a cat. Then you can work your way down the chain to Hope Town which is an easy morning return to base. Your taxi from the airport will take you to the grocery and liquor store on the way to the base. The stores were right next to each other in 2005. Very easy. Cannot comment on the weather. We were there in April. I would imagine june to be warm and humid with some afternoon rains.

Here is some info from our trip there in 2005. http://tkronaboat.com/abacos-charter-2005.html
