was about to ask why you wanted to use that stuff that basically makes things permanently attached.. but I can see why you used it to fix something.

no advice on how to speed up the cure.. but I can offer this.. make sure it is cured before sitting on it :D

Yea, you could have a real situation! Isn't there a fast cure and a slow cure version? My understanding is that the slow is stronger, so take solace in that.

Easy. You need high humidity and heat.

Sail Delmarva: Curring Oven

I've used a cooler, damp towel, and heating pad, but I'm sure you could rig something up a little bigger.

You could FedEx it to me here in Grenada; we've plenty of both heat and humidity. I could return it when it's dry.

So, you could just sit on the throne then eh?

What was for dinner?

Seriously, every winter norther sailor complain that 5200 will go weeks and remain sticky. The humidity inside a heated space is just to low for polyurethane, which uses water vapor as a curing agent. A warm, humid enclosure solves the problem.

if it is only the seat.. take it off and bring it home. put it in the oven at "warm" with a pan of water. That should help it cure
