Has anyone tried using the "Watt's Up" RC Watt meter and power analyzer to monitor the condition of your house battery bank? For $50 it would be a great tool but the spec's look like it will only handle up to 65 amp hour battery. My bank is 300 but this is an area I know nothing about. It would be nice to have this information instead of just voltage. I am aware of the Mastervolt product, MasterLink BTM-III but I'm not willing to spend $500.00. What's your experience or suggestions.
Thanks

Alex,
thanks for the recommendation. I found it for $140 at the Inverter Service Center. I ordered it so it can go in at the same time I put in the new 300ah battery bank.

Amp hour counters are very, very handy but they are NOT plug & play and DO require human intervention to remain accurate. They are only as smart as the person using them. Program and wire carefully and don't rely on "auto synch" and they can work well.

I have a lot more detail on programming & accuracy of Ah counters here:
