I have Ampair 100 wind generator but no controller and wondering if I can use any run of the mill controller and maybe mix in with it the solar panels ?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS

You need a controller with a dump load. Ampair currently has one.

Brian I have not found Ampair dealer in Canada. Do you know of one?

It doesn't have to be an Ampair controller but you can find a Canadian dealer here Ampair Wind, Hydro and Packaged Power specialists | North America .

I'm not a big fan of wind generation and if I were you I would spend my money on solar.

PS That little baby that Brian suggested will set you back £204.00 in the UK.

I second the motion of ebs001, we hated our air generator - it was too noisy - and didn't produce much electricity. So we went solar. IMHO - sell the air thing, and spend your money on solar.

Well I have a brand new Ampair 100 and 400 watt of solar and hate to put the generator away to waste when I'm sure it will be useful sometime.
