I agree with Chuck ! I have a fortress (A large one, don't recall the number) on my 30 footer. A great anchor for sand or mud, but the rode and chain make all anchors useful or useless, so get a long piece of good galvanized chain ( at least as long as your boat) and all the rode you can muster and pay attention to the type of bottom you are floating over. Different anchors hold better than others in different types of bottom. Good luck.
