Took off around noon ( in about 10-15 knots ) and about 3 miles past the outer markers we had this to port

At the same time I had this to starboard and thought what a contrast

Later we thought we should go get a bigger boat, but decided he was just kidding

We eventually made it to the islands and saw what looked like a pod of a 100 dolphins headed SW between the two islands, awsome sight to see, but no photos so it either didn't happen or they were to far away

It was a great day, the return trip found me all alone as everyone went below for a nap, which I had no prblem with, there was peace and quite, me and water

It looked to me, from the pictures, that you had right of way with the sub. I hope you held your ground? You did hail him on ch16 and explain your intentions, right?

I have been very dissapointed in your expeditions lately. First, your motor boat knocks down a tree and you do not repair it - then you go out sailing and fail to uphold your God given right of way. Don't even bring up the Hunter.

I'm a wimp, I did hail the sub and asked " just who in the hell is driving the POS " the responce back was, " what the hell is that black ensignia on your sail, a target ? ............over "

and the trees ?? well, they were putting out waaaaaay too much oxygen and needed to go.

He's talking about this thread, a developer we do a lot of work with bought a 4.5 million dollar sport fisher then dump a boat load of money into it to add a little LOA, new power and a complete interior.

I found out a couple weeks ago that my diver also did some work on Scotts boat and was there during the move, he also did some work on his backup boat which is a 65' Hatteras. Alex ( my diver ) said yes, the power plant did coat 1.2 million each and the total to date is just under 16 million.

Talked to Scotts wife and she said if they seperate he can have the damn boat, she wants the plane which is suppose to be nicer

Needless to say, the next project will be cost plus 25 :laugher :laugher :laugher
