This movie has been discussed before. The kids are no more "castaways" than Gilligan (meaning the TV show was not real life). Some admire their "pluck" while I see them as blatantly disregarding other's property while misrepresenting themselves as free spirits living off only their wits.

I can't find the previous thread but it told of their backgrounds.
