Hi, I've started the looking-online-to-buy process and have been leaning toward the Endeavour boats mainly because they sounded sturdy for the open ocean and roomy with their wide beam. Recently I came across a 1995 Endeavour SportCat 36' and can't seem to find much on it except for conflicting info that it's either a great boat or will make for a rough ride, which I'm assuming really just depends on sea conditions. Does anyone know anything about this boat? I'm going to look at it this weekend. It also has a gas-powered 25hp Mercury outboard. Is this OK? I'm inexperienced in sailing but have been on the water since very young so am learning quickly, as I go, but I still get a bit nervous when heeling too much. I do want to be able to single-handle whatever I get (I'm a 44-yo female). I'm also trying to keep the base purchase under $70K and do plan to live on it. I've been reading so many great threads with abundantly helpful suggestions but haven't come across something about this catamaran or the Endeavours, in general, but if it's out there, I'd appreciate if someone would let me know. Any other suggestions on boats that might suit me (such as Endurance 35, Beneteau Oceanis 351, etc?) would be fabulous. Thanks!
