My wife and I are considering moving into a floating home. Other than the obvious benefit of having your boat moored right beside you, does anyone have some insight, pros and cons of this type of lifestyle?

Not a houseboat, but a house built for floating that is moored in a marina. Some of them are quite elaborate!
