Arco Winches Sheet Abrasion
Winch Sheet Abrasion
I replaced my Barlow winches with Arco winches.
(BTW: Not the same Arco who advertise here.)
The Barlows were trouble free, smooth running, but I wanted self tailors so switched to Arco, but the tailing mechanism shreds the sheets, though the sheets are the recommended size for the winches. The winches also need maintance after just a few years. Maybe I should of stuck with Barlow as there are self tailor conversion kits now.
Any suggestions?
