--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I purchased my boat new 4 years ago with 3 x ST70 displays, plus an ST70 autopilot display. Every year one of the displays failed. The first year, an ST70 was replaced free of charge. But in subsequent years, the local Raymarine dealer charged me for new displays. This year, once again, one of the ST70 displays has failed even though I decided to remove all the displays from the boat over the winter period.

All the displays seem to fail over the winter period and I suspect humidity (even though the boat is in the South of France).

I am now considering replacing the failed ST70 with an i70.

Has anyone else had reliability issues with the ST70 displays and has anyone found the current generation i70 displays to be more reliable (and perhaps more water/humidity resistant) ?

That is terrible. I figured that Raymarine makes so many displays that they would have it down. We have Nexus Silva Classic, and only the analog wind has ever failed in 14 years.
