Hi All,
First off, many thanks to all who participate in these SN forums. I have lurked for a while, and now that my Fiance' and I have a new-to-us boat, it was time to join in. SN is a wonderful resource!
So, we are now the proud owner of an '89 Hunter 33.5 and plan to sail her in and around Sandy Hook/Raritan Bay NJ. The boat is currently in Connecticut, and if the weather ever gets warm enough to commission and launch her, we'll be sailing her down to her new home.
I started out sailing in my early teens (a REALLY long time ago) on a friends boat, then moved on to my own sailboat, a Kells 23, sailing in Barnegat Bay NJ. Then I crossed over to the dark side with a 33' power boat. Life then proceeded to get in the way, so that boat was disposed of. And now I'm finally back to the type of boating I truly love. And to boot, I have a partner who, even tho she doesn't have much sailing experience (yet
), seems to love it too!
Anyway, fair winds to ye, and hope to see you out there!
Ken
