They might need the money:

...Safeco just sent me a check (2 days ago) refunding my deductible for this whole debacle. That means they have successfully sued (subrogated) Mack Sails for the costs incurred to them for what they did to my boat.

PPS SUCK IT MACK! You screwed my boat royally and after I sent photos and a nice letter (copies available by PM) of what you did (and wanted to charge me to do) to my boat, you stopped returning my calls. Guess you had to return the calls for the sopena...

Yeah, I realized the same thing... After they blew MedSailor off, I wouldn't trust Mack Sails to change my oil filter... and I am glad that MedSailor called them out on it.

I'm also a little confused. It says its a refit, but there's no mention of any work that's been done. It just says it has new sails. So I guess you're a sail maker? But if that's an ad for Mack Sails, why not show a close up of stitching and reinforced clews and tacks and this and that? Do you own Mack Sails?

Forgive me, I don't know about the fiasco with MedSailor. Doesn't sound good though.

He did the video for Mack Sails. He has done video production for 30 years as he said.

Miatapaul, he said he had 30 years experience. He didn't say what he did. I'm new. How am I to know?

Xort, good video. Nice quality and camera angles. Still, as an ad for a sail maker, I'd like to see close ups of stitching and needlework. But, well done.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I produced the video.

The video points out that Mack did all new rod rigging, painted the spars, installed a furling boom as well as a new set of sails.
It was not meant to be a detailed 4 hour how to video, but a highlight of the variety of services offered. You don't see how they do it in Mercedes Benz commercials either. This is more along those lines.

As for Mack, I run into this kind of very positive opinion about them everywhere I go...
