The reason the Pettit SR40 probably works better than the Interlux Micron CRC is the Micron requires a fairly high speed to start ablating at... and isn't as useful on sailboats as slow as yours. ;)

Seriously, the Pettit ablatives start to ablate at speeds as low as 4 knots or so, while the Interlux ablatives tend to start up around 7+ knots or so.
