Just to correct a slight error in this statement. PC uses BPA as one of its building blocks. So, any PC container by definition has BPA. Nalgene and the other clear water container companies have switched to an alternate plastic (a polyester) that does not use BPA during the polymerization.BPa has sometimes been added to clear polycarbonate (PC) articles (Nalgene bottles) but in very low (ppb) levels. Nalgene and most other PC container manufacturers no longer add BPa to their products.
