Anyone know who made the bronze thruhulls for Bristol yachts? I broke the key end of the center spindle on the thruhull for my head. Rather than replace the whole thruhull, I was hoping to just replace the spindle.

Thanks.

Bristol thru hulls

If the end broke, I wonder if there is any electrolysis happening there? It might pay to check the body of the valve just in case. If the boats out of the water, it would be a simple matter to have a machine shop turn up a new spindle if the valve is in good condition. I have checked my through hulls & seen no maker stamped on them. I think any reputable fitting would be a good replacement.

On my '72 Bristol 32, he through hull fittings for my head are the SV Series from Groco Marine Products. The seacocks on my sinks and cockpit drains are from Spartan Marine. I'm guessing these are all original, but after 37 years, who knows.
