Hi All,

Can anyone give me some info on what, if any, boat yards are in or around Deleware City, DE. I'm considering transporting my 84 Hunter 31 down to the mouth of the C & D canal but I'm not familure with any marina's or boat yards with the capability for stepping the mast, rigging, and launching.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Nothing near the C&D. Closest would be in the Chesapeake.
Summit North Marina at the east end of the C&D is sheltered, has a 50 ton lift and I'm sure you can arrange for riggers.

Just got fuel in Summit North...Cam is correct a good choice.
Thank You Chef2Sail & Camaraderie, sounds like a good pick and with the link I can email them for info on riggers, etc.

Chet,

Try these folks as well. I think they are a much better managed facility.
DELAWARE CITY MARINA - Marine Services

Thanks Wayne,
That's one I was looking at as well. Web site shows pretty complete service even cranes hoisting masts so I assume they have riggers near-by.

Chet
I too recommend Summit North in Bear DE. I know they have a travel lift but don't know what other services they perform. I'd give them a call.
