Well I have seen pictures of what were claimed to be #43ST winches, but now I am wondering if someone made a mistake. I'll ask him to double check, but I do agree its odd that I can not find any specs on these. I am starting to agree that maybe they don't exist. The #43 Lewmar is a standard winch (non self tailing), to the best of my knowledge, there is no #43ST (self tailer). I am replacing a Lewmar 40 with a #46ST, and the mounting holes are different. Anywhere I went with the biggest unit I could fit taking into account my grey hair factor.

The #40 and the #40ST have different mounting hole arrangements? Well, that's sure a clever ideaThe #43 Lewmar is a standard winch (non self tailing), to the best of my knowledge, there is no #43ST (self tailer).
