I am in the middle of upgrading all electronics, and want to switch to a B&G starter package that includes a DST 810. The boat now has a RayMarine T910 (old TackTick) triducer, that is housed on a casing that is labeled as ABYC H-27. As far as I can tell, this appear to be exactly the same type of dimensions as the casing for all the DST 800 or DST 810 models. However, can not get confirmation anywhere of this.

Any help appreciated as do not have access to the boat for next 2 month to take the current triducer out and measure - And would have to order and then not be compatible (in which case might juts wait until end of the season to switch things)

Regards, Gus

The ABYC h-27 is not a part number but a rating for marine underwater fittings. all the transducers of this type fit the the same housing. Airman makes all the transducers for Raymarine and B&G. Call Airmar they will know for sure.

They all fit the same housing as far as diameter, but differ in length and notch size/position. We have an older Raymarine speed transducer that we are waiting for haulout to switch to an Airmar N2K transducer. The new one fits the old housing, but it is too long for the nut to secure it, and the notch isn't in the same place so it won't sit down tight.
