?? Can't find common combo shower hose...how can this be so hard?

PO failed to winterize the metal flex hose for the shower, so it leaks. I'll skip the boat yoga it took to remove it (blind), but I cannot find a replacement!

These things were installed on thousands of production boats in the 1990s (at least.) Yet even the manufacturer (the hose is clearly marked Grohe) can't tell me a part number for a replacement. I've check Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, even the RV parts counters- nothing.

It's 59", female 1/2" and male 3/8". There are a billion hoses available on Amazon, Grohe, and elsewhere, but none match.

Does ANYONE have any idea where to buy a replacement hose?

Try a standard hose with two female ends and and male to male nipple or adaptor.

That looks suspiciously like a Whale shower head from 2005 we had on the boat. I used an adaptor to mate the hose with a new head. Here is a 32" hose: Buy Pipes & Pipe Fittings Online at Overstock | Our Best Plumbing Deals

and another one
Thanks so far. I’m headed to the big plumbing store to see if I can cobble something together.
If thats a grohe you should be able to just order a new one from amazon. I had to replace on in my home a while back. I think ordered from amazon..

Struck out at the plumbing store that has everything.

The Grohe hose is not on Amazon, nor is it on the Grohe website. Even armed with the photos above, and more, they can't tell me what the part number is, or if they have it. Odd because every Hunter, Catalina, etc. from 1990s has these.

The problem is that the male end is about 9/16" (perhaps metric) but fine threaded to screw into the sprayer/ handle. The sprayer alone last time I checked was over $150 (so instead I repaired mine.)

I'll bet Grohe is going to try to get me to drop $300 on a whole new unit, which I would, except that all of the connections I can reach, not see. Clearly they put it all together THEN dropped the liner in place.
