Hi all,
A while back there was a thread here on the Cape Horn Self Steering. Well, I took the plunge and ordered a system and could not be happier with it. We have only been using it for several weeks, but it has been easy to use, and has performed very well in all of the conditions we have sailed in. We really like that there are no lines attached to the wheel, and that the entire unit fits inside of our aft pushpit railing. I tried to attach some photos (unsuccessfully), but if anyone is interested I would be happy to e-mail them directly.

Nice of you to take time to share your experience with it. You'll be able to post pictures once you have 10 posts, I believe.

Oh, and that's a beautiful name for a beautiful boat.

Thanks, that's probably it. I'm still learning how the forum works.

Fabulous install

I'm posting some pictures for Dave of his installation of the Cape Horn Windvane. I've got to say it is a wonderfully clean and elegant installation. I'm glad to hear it works so well too!
