Snubber line at bow has been wearing into the fiberglass edge after the chock
Set a 2nd anchor last week and it's doing same to the other side.
Nothing new..has been going on for years.
Now I'd like to protect the edge in some way
Thinking alum or some thin stainless...applied in some way
What experiences do others have with this prob
Maybe Mike
Initial thoughts were some type of plate material
Maybe I use a hammer to form it but just for the edges
I'm sure others have dealt with this type of thing before

We use SS strakes, for essentially the same reason. At the slip, the dock lines would chafe on the teak rub rail outboard of the chock. Done.
