I'll be making a business trip to a small town between The Hague and Utrecht, Holland next week. Wonder if there's a chandler in The Hague/Utrecht that I can do some shopping for my boat stuff.

Utrecht is landlocked and you will probably not find anything there. If your flying in to Schiphol Airport, stop by a news stand and purchase the local boat magazines and check out the adverts. They will probably direct you to locations along the coast, especially the Ijsselmeer area. Probably an hours drive from Utrecht / The Hague. Having said that, this is not the sailing season. With a particularly cold winter the emphasis is more on ice skating than sailing! The Ijsselmeer is also a good place to see their traditional sailboats that are very unique in their design. Good luck

Hi,

Steekel is right. It's winter so check opening hours. But if you are looking for some specific stuff google for "watersport winkel" (winkel=store) and add a cityname.

Try :
Nauticlink watersport, boten, zeilvakanties en een boot huren | zeilboten, motorboten, zeilen, sloepen en catamarans , ( nauticlink.com) look for the province of Utrecht, Noord Holland and Zuid Holland. Triangle between Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam (The Haque).

Correct Electronics (Correct Electronics , Centuurbaan 125 Rotterdam) This is the Marine department of Correct just South of The Haque in Rotterdam.

Good luck
