A drysuit might be a very good idea... otherwise, fleece is a very good idea, along with high-tech underlayers to wick moisture away from the body, fleece to insulate, and then a shell to waterproof the whole mess.

This month's Practical Sailor did a report of follies. May be worth looking it over before buying. Also Defender has some things on closeout.

Fleece in layers and a waterproof shell, definitely.
