Have to admit I've never seen red and green cleats. Might as well follow the general rule - if you have two of something, the one with the least letters goes on the left side.
Left has less letters than right,
port has less letters than starboard,
red light has less letters than green light,
jib halyard has less letters than main halyard,
and now red cleat etc.

Is that the Cajun way? I hear tell things are done a bit differently, in The Big Easy, so I'm willing to listen, while I'm enjoying some of that wonderful Cajun cooking.

OK, I stand corrected, but I'm still hungry.
Not all port wine is red, although, to be fair, as far as I know, none of it is green.

When stocking up on Portuguese wines, I'll be sure to store the Vinho Verde on the starboard side, and the Vinho do Porto to port
