I have researched this boat and its Scheel keel but would appreciate opinions from anyone with direct knowledge about these boats. Thanks.

Can't really add much, though I think the 35 is one of the best looking boats currently made. It's got that timeless "salty American" style that will never go out of fashion. I certainly would have considered one when we were shopping though they are sort of hard to come by. I think it would be a great boat for a crusing couple. The thing that really turned me off from it is that it has no aft cabin, which for me, with a growing family, is much more useful than a quarter berth (which would be useful to a cruiser). The other limiting factor was the somewhat limiting length of the V-berth. I'm very tall, and it would not be able to accomdate me. Beautiful boat though.
