Composting Heads with Budget Cruising

You have now written three replies to the question "How do you deal with the liquids?" and each time carefully avoided to answer it. This question was asked because of your statement

"I can sit in a tiny anchorage for months at a time with no concern about pumping out, or polluting the surrounds." in your posting 2,904.

I don't believe that anyone here needs an education on "how these heads work," a discussion that you would prefer to move somewhere else. We all know how this works: you pour the 'liquids' over the side.

If you believe that this does not pollute the surrounds in your tiny anchorage, and that this is the right thing to do, why don't you say so? Would be a lot easier than writing multiple replies that evade to answer a simple question.

But, since you insist so strongly, let's come back to frugality. You do realize that you are throwing out hard cash with your practice? What you are dealing with is, ehm, liquid gold: the price of piss has gone up by 500%! See today's NYT Meet the Peecyclers. Their Idea to Help Farmers Is No. 1.

"Some entrepreneurial young farmers have taken to collecting, storing and selling urine, Mr. Ali said, and the price has spiked in the last couple years, from about $1 for 25 liters to $6."
And this is the price in a third-world country (Nigeria).

Better start peecycling!
Plasma and urine, the new Bitcoin !

I'm certainly pleased your heads have been so problem-free. That's not true for everyone, as a simple search of these forums shows. Compare that to zero problems with composting heads.

The other factor is pump out costs. None for composters. Some areas cost $10 or more.

But the real kicker with composting heads is the simplicity and unlimited nature of their use. I can sit in a tiny anchorage for months at a time with no concern about pumping out, or polluting the surrounds.
.
That's not completely truthful.
On many accounts.
