If you are going to be day sailing or possibly overnighting with a family of four it will be fine. Longer periods will get cramped. My sense is that mine had the interior room of a newer boat several feet shorter...but that was then and this is now. No Hunter or Catalina looks as nice in the water. Boat #1 is gone, wife #1 is gone, I'll let you guess which one I miss more.
