I am traveling in DC area this week on business. Just wondering what used sailing gear shops (consignment?) folks here might recommend for some rummaging. I do know about Bacons...

Sometimes there's a marine swap-meet in the Academy Stadium parking lot, but Bacon's is our big consignment shop. Everyone else is selling new gear.

Fawcett Marine in Annapolis sells new gear, pretty dedicated to sailing as opposed to West Marine, who is primarily dedicated to a "coastal lifestyle".

Bacons was cool to see but did not buy. Fairwinds was largely for powerboats. Annapolis and upper Bay was beautiful but cold...
