The following explanation leaves out many steps in the process of creating a loop in braided core line. The steps are for illustration purposes to explain my question.
After removing the core from the sleeve the next step is to insert the sleeve back through the core. After that the core is inserted through the sleeve and exits where the core was extracted from the sleeve.
My question is should the core go further into the sleeve past the point at which the core is extracted from the sleeve to provide a stronger loop.
