Experienced crew available immediately until May 30 for northbound or trans-Atlantic crossing. Have lived and cruised aboard sailboats up to 45 feet.

I'm polite, sober, and a nonsmoker. Responsible, but fun. I love to listen to music and cook. I want to learn to fish.

Guys, please take note: I am not available for a relationship.

Am sorta looking for crew to sail thru the Bahamas but my wife isn't going and any unattached female on the boat is a serious problem for her even if it is obvious that I have no interest in the female crew member.
Couple years ago, I plannned a trip and there was to be a single woman going and the three of us guys hoped she'd back out (the other three guys were single) and when she did we sighed with relief. Girlfriends and wives can be so intolerant of female crew.
In this case, my son-in-law is going so even though he could make sure I never gave any thought to another woman it wouldn't work.

I don't want to sign up for a throwaway email account. I registered for sailnet simply to recruit a crew. How do I create 12 quick posts without being an annoyance?
Well, you could go to the Off Topic forum, start a nonsense thread and fill it up with posts.

http://www.sailnet.com/forums/off-topic/

And before you get annoyed, the purpose for that particular feature is to help control spam. I only suggested the throwaway email for those who don't want to post their real email.

If you haven't already done so, you could also try this site:

Should be a fun trip rightcoast. Is that a Mariah 31 or a new 31? Who will be aboard? How is the boat equipped? What sort of experience do you have?

It's a Mariah. I will be aboard and am looking for one other soul to help with watches. She is well-equipped-solar, wind generator, autopilot, radar, gps, refrigerator, new Yanmar, propane stove and oven, and even air conditioning.

I have over 1500 nm of offshore experience. I helped a guy deliver a trimaran from the Chesapeake Bay to St. Thomas via Bermuda in December of 2013.

Is the Virgin Islands run your only trip offshore? I might be interested (FL to Beaufort / Oriental). Would be more inclined if the trip with additional crew. EPIRB and / or raft? Booze or cigarettes aboard? Sails / rigging? What's the plan for the trip? How much time do you have to make the run? Is the boat prepped now or is there work to do. Feel free to email me through SN.
