Hello everyone,

I am looking for one more person to join me and a friend to sail my Hans Christian '33 in mid to late May from Puerto Rico to Texas.

We plan on making several stops along the way in Dominican Republic, Caicos, Cayman Island and Islas Mujeres before we cruise the Gulf of Mexico to our final destination in Galveston, Texas!

This is a non paying crew, in other words you pay to get to Puerto Rico and to get yourself home after we are done with the cruise!!

I will pay for the boat expenses, diesel and the food while we are sailing but any other expense while on land will be yours!

I am 43 years old and my friend is in his 30's, we are looking for one more person to join us!

If you are Intrested please email me here or at andresv94 at yahoo

From Puerto Rico why would you not sail along the south coast of DR and thence to Jamaica, thence through the Caymens to Isla and then a reach up to Galveston, essentially down wind or a reach and down current the entire way? Why ever would you divert to the Caicos? Further, what is your and your pal's experience off shore and how well is your yacht prepared for such a passage?

The original idea was to sail to Caicos for some R&R and stay there a week or two
but now that we may have some time constrains we were thinking about going with the southern route!

Hi, i am a young 50 year old sailor that has owned my own boats and sailed for others for quite a while. i have over 50,000 miles logged in the exact areas you have described. I lived in St. Thomas for two years and owned my own marine mechanical/electrical service for both local and transient vessels. Kind of angry now because my phone was just stolen and am working on a replacement. If you would like to talk, email me a number I can get in touch with you and we can talk. Good Luck.....Justin
