For the Virgins, we've had good luck with this:

The 2013-2014 Cruising Guide to the Virgin Islands | Cruising Guides

We also liked the Doyle guide for the Grenadines--available from the same site.

That guide is the one that I used two years ago.

If you book your charter through Ed-Hamilton Company, they'll send you that cruising guide for free. Using the broker did not cost me any more, in fact they got me an additional 5% off beyond the discount that I had found on my own.
