The Admiral and I have put up with the 1987 cushions and covers on my O'day 35 about as long as we are going to do so. I hope that this year I can finally do something about it.

Right now the boat is in Rhode Island, and I am in Florida, so these are the best pics that I can provide.
While they weren't terrible, they weren't good, and their condition hasn't improved since. Several of the "buttons" have since lost their cloth caps, and several of the "buttons" are missing entirely. I hate the "buttons"...
When I had my new dodger and bimini built, I asked the canvas shop to give me a price for all new cushions and foam. There are 16 total cushions, including the 6 backrests. The quote that I received was $10K
Well, like my chances of winning the lottery, that ain't ever happening.
So my thought is that because the backrests are in excellent condition, all that I need to replace is the bottoms. The challenge is that I would need a close enough match for the material and pattern. I have combed the Sunbrella site for several years in search of a match to no avail.
I received another quote, and asked if the guy could match the material. My conversation with him, and his lack of understanding led me to believe that he could not. This surprised me because I have seen this exact same material and pattern on '80s vintage Catalinas (a 30 and 34), Pearson (33, and 36) O'day (a 34 and 35), and an Ericsson (35) sailboats.

I was on a 2004 Catalina 40, and really liked the cushions, so I checked the label. I laughed out loud when I saw this;

I liked that the cushion had a zipper around the bottom (not the back) and that the bottom was a mesh material that seemed like water would be able to escape. I also liked that there were no "buttons".
Can anyone here help me find a similar material?
Can anyone here help me find a cushion maker that won't charge me an appendage and an organ?
