Found great custom canvas shop out in Renton, Washington.

Diego's Custom Marine Upholstery

Address: 1023 Bronson Way South, Renton, WA 98057

Phone (425) 919-3932

Ordered a couple of custom sail covers, emailed them the measurements, specified Sunbrella fabric and various hardware on a Saturday. The following Saturday they were sitting on my porch in South Mississippi. Fantastic quality, extremely competitive prices, super fast turnaround, and very friendly service. Call Diego to discuss what you need and you will not be disappointed with anything they do for you.

That's interesting, because they made a mainsail cover for me, and it was a mess. The first attempt didn't fit at all, around the mast. The second time, they just stitched in more fabric to cover the gaps. So now it does cover, but looks terrible.

What's the point of a measurement sheet if you ignore it and/or don't understand it?

Here's a pic :

and after they modified it :

Wow,
Surprising contrast to my experience. Interesting. Maybe they had a couple of human resource issues that have possibly been resolved. They were fast, courteous, and dead on with the measurements. I even called in a late favor and they handled it within the promised time frame. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, I know the feeling as I have owned and restored many boats and classic cars over the years. This shop seemed to provide me prompt service, and exceeded my expectations, so I wanted to share them with our SailNet family. Again, sorry your experience was less than positive.

Well, Santa brought me a Sailrite LSZ1, which I've already used to repair a number of covers (my boat has a lot). Next projects are v berth curtains, then the big one : interior upholstery. Maybe after that I'll have the skills to make a new mainsail cover!

Great machine. I think you will have no problem making your sail cover... Even if it were your first project. Give Sailmakers Supply a call 1-877-374-SAIL (7245). They have great prices on Sunbrella and tons of other stuff. Two ladies that own it and they also have a lot of experience that they are willing to share over the phone.
